Image Classification & Auto-Tagging Tool — example interface built by PINCLER
Illustrative screens — every project is designed for your brand and workflow.

An image classification and auto-tagging tool that labels, sorts and moderates photos with vision models. Custom computer vision development from $1,200 to $2,500 in 12 to 20 days.

The problem

E-commerce catalogues, property portals, marketplaces and media teams receive thousands of images a week that someone has to categorise, tag, check for quality and reject when they break the rules. Interns do it inconsistently, listings go live with the wrong category or a blurry hero image, and search and filters suffer. Building a vision model from scratch used to need a data science team and months of labelling.

What we build

We build a tagging pipeline that sends each image to Gemini or GPT vision models with your taxonomy and rules, returning categories, attributes such as colour, room type or material, quality scores, text found in the image and moderation flags, with embeddings stored in pgvector for similarity search and duplicate detection. A review screen lets staff correct low-confidence results and the corrections improve prompts. Claude Code scaffolds the queue, storage and API, DeepSeek keeps bulk re-tagging cheap, and we calibrate on a labelled sample of your images before go-live. Full source code and a fixed price that never exceeds $2,500.

FAQ

Image Classification & Auto-Tagging Tool: common questions

How much does an image tagging tool cost?

Between $1,200 and $2,500 depending on taxonomy size, volume and integrations, delivered in 12 to 20 days. The fixed quote never exceeds $2,500.

How accurate is the tagging?

On well-defined taxonomies vision models reach 90 to 97 percent agreement with human labels; uncertain cases go to the review screen. We report accuracy on your own sample before launch.

Where are our images processed and stored?

Images stay in your own S3 or cloud storage and are sent to the vision model through API keys in your account with no retention. Results and embeddings live in your database.
