PinHire Terms of Use

PinHire by Pincler (“PinHire”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is run by PINCLER TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED, a company in India. Our address is 3, 1st Floor, Byadarahalli, Viswaneedam Post, Magadi Road, Yeshwanthpur Hubli, Bangalore - 560091, Karnataka, India.

We sell the ₹999 Builder Pass. When you pay for it through Razorpay, you pay us.

PinHire is part of the Pincler group. The group also has a company in Dubai (PINCLER TECHNOLOGIES - FZCO). For PinHire, your agreement is only with PINCLER TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED in India.

“You” means the person who uses PinHire. When you create an account, buy the Builder Pass or take a test, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use PinHire.

PinHire is a test and hiring website for AI engineers in India. With PinHire you can:

• create a free account and take the free 5-minute skill check;
• take the 60-minute test while the live test is open. The next test is on Sunday, 1 November 2026, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM IST (India time);
• buy the optional ₹999 Builder Pass to prepare and to get more attempts;
• if you pass and turn on profile sharing, get an interview with a partner startup within 30 days.

We are not your employer. Partner startups are separate companies. Each startup decides who to hire.

• You must be 18 or older. PinHire is not for children. When you sign up, you confirm that you are 18 or older.
• One person, one account. Do not make a second account. Do not use someone else’s account, and do not let anyone use yours.
• Give true details. Use your real full name (as on your college ID or PAN card). Use your own email and mobile number. Use your real college roll number or the last 4 characters of your PAN.
• Keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens in your account. If you think someone else has used it, change your password and email us right away.
• Sign out on a shared computer when you finish.

We may check your identity. If your details are false, or one person has more than one account, we may block an account. We may also cancel scores and close accounts.

If we stop your sign-up by mistake, email support@pincler.com and a person will check it.

Your name, email, mobile number and roll number or PAN characters are locked after sign-up. To correct them, email support@pincler.com.

A free account costs ₹0. You do not need a card. It gives you:

• 1 attempt at the 60-minute test while the live test is open;
• reminder emails about test day;
• the free 5-minute skill check, with a scorecard that shows the expert answers to all 5 questions.

The practice lab, the starter kit and the prep kit are not part of the free plan. They come with the Builder Pass.

The Builder Pass is optional. It is a one-time payment of ₹999, including 18% GST (SAC 999293: training and monitored tests). It is not a subscription and it never renews. You pay through Razorpay, by UPI or card.

It includes:

• 3 attempts at the 60-minute test instead of 1. Your best total score of the 3 counts.
• The practice lab.
• The starter kit: a ZIP download and a GitHub link.
• The 3-module prep guide.
• The handbook. Each part opens after the attempt that uses that question set is over.
• The marking guide and the 40-page system design guide.

How the attempts work. You can take your attempts only while the live test is open: Sunday, 1 November 2026, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM IST. There are no other times. You must take a 15-minute break between attempts. The break starts when you submit. To have time for all 3 attempts, start attempt 1 by 1:45 PM IST. If you have started an attempt, you can finish it after 3:00 PM. Each attempt uses a different question set. You do not repeat Parts 2 and 3 for each attempt. You can test your webhook again, and we keep your best score. Their marks are added to each of your 3 attempts.

When it opens. The practice lab, the starter kit and the prep guide open as soon as we confirm your payment. At checkout, you tick a box. By ticking it, you agree that your payment counts as starting to use this digital product right away. So we do not refund a pass once it is open, except in the cases on our Refund Policy page.

If you miss the test, or you cannot use all 3 attempts in the test time, we do not refund the pass. The pass is for you only. You cannot sell it or give it to someone else.

The test must be fair for everyone. When you take the skill check or the 60-minute test, you agree to these rules:

• Take the test yourself. No other person may take it for you or help you during it.
• Answer the timed questions (Part 1) yourself, without AI tools. You may use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot or Cursor as a helper for the live build (Part 2). You must understand the code you submit and be able to change it.
• Do not copy, photograph, record or take screenshots of the questions. Do not share, post or sell the questions or the answers, during or after the test.
• Use only your own account. Do not use more than one account.
• Your live build must run at a web address that you own or control. Our grader (the program that checks your work) sends test requests to it. Never enter the address of someone else’s website.
• Your 60-second code explanation (Part 3) must be a real video of you, on webcam, explaining and changing your own code. Share it as a link (Loom, unlisted YouTube or Google Drive). Keep the link working until your score is final.
• Do not try to break, slow down or get around PinHire’s systems, the timer or our checks.

How we keep the test fair. The test is monitored. During the skill check and the 60-minute test, we watch for signs of cheating, such as leaving the test page, copying or taking screenshots. A PinHire reviewer watches every webcam video. We also test your live build. We do not share how our checks work, because that would make them weaker.

If we find cheating. If we find cheating or another break of these rules, we may cancel a score or an attempt. We may also stop you from taking future tests, hide your profile from partner startups and close your account. A person at PinHire looks at the records before we decide. We will email you our decision. You can reply to ask us to check it again. If we close your account for cheating, we do not refund the Builder Pass.

The 60-minute test has 100 marks: 40 for the timed questions, 45 for the live build and 15 for the 60-second code explanation (on webcam). You pass with 85 or more out of 100. You get the 15 marks for Part 3 only after a PinHire reviewer approves your video.

If you think we made a mistake with your score, email us. We will check it again.

• The interview. If your best score is 85 or more and your profile sharing is on, you get an interview with a partner startup within 30 days after you pass. To get the interview, reply to our messages and be available at the times we offer. If we cannot set up an interview within 30 days, email support@pincler.com. We will tell you what we are doing about it.
• No job guarantee. An interview is not a job offer. Passing the test does not guarantee a job. Each startup decides whether to hire you. It also decides the pay and terms of any job.
• Never a fee for a job. We never charge you a fee for a job offer or an interview. The ₹999 Builder Pass pays only for prep material and monitored test attempts. If anyone asks you for money for a PinHire job or interview, do not pay. Tell us at support@pincler.com.
• Sharing is your choice. You can turn profile sharing on or off at any time on your profile page. We share your profile, your scores and the link to your 60-second video with partner startups only if you pass and sharing is on. If sharing is off, we cannot set up the interview.
• Partner startups are separate companies. We are not responsible for what they decide or do. Job details, such as pay and location, can change.

These things belong to us, or to people who let us use them: the test questions and answers, the practice lab, the 3-module prep guide, the handbook, the guides, this website, and the PinHire and Pincler names and logos. Copyright and other laws protect them.

We give you a personal right to use them for your own preparation. You may not copy, share, sell, publish, record or upload them. You may not use them to train AI models or to build a similar service. Do not share your Builder Pass access or downloads with anyone.

The starter kit is for your own practice. You may change it and use it to build your own project for the test. Do not sell it. If the starter kit has its own licence file, that licence also applies to its code.

Your work. You own the code you write, your live build and your video. You allow us to store, run, test, review and score them, so that we can run the test and check its results. If you pass and turn on profile sharing, you also allow us to send the link to your video to partner startups.

• Do not use PinHire to break the law.
• Do not upload harmful code. Do not try to get into accounts or systems that are not yours.
• Do not use automated tools to make accounts, take tests or overload the website.
• Do not pretend to be another person or company.

We work to keep PinHire running well. But we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors.

We may need to move or cancel a test, for example because of a technical problem, a security problem or events outside our control. If this happens, we will email you as soon as we can. We will tell you the new date, if there is one.

If you have the Builder Pass and we cancel the Sunday test without offering a new date that you accept, we refund your pass in full. See our Refund Policy.

If a problem on our side stops your attempt, email us right away. We will check what happened and decide fairly what to do.

We may improve PinHire and change its features over time.

You can stop using PinHire at any time. To close your account, email support@pincler.com from your account email. Closing your account does not refund a Builder Pass that was already open.

We may suspend (pause) or close your account if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect other candidates or PinHire. If we close it because of cheating or misuse, we do not refund the pass.

When an account is closed, we keep or delete your data as our Privacy Policy explains.

• We provide PinHire with reasonable care and skill.
• We are not responsible for problems caused by: your own device, internet connection or power supply; services you choose (such as the host of your live build or your video); or the decisions of partner startups.
• We are not responsible for losses that we could not reasonably foresee (expect in advance), such as a lost job opportunity.
• If we are responsible for a loss, the most we will pay is the amount you paid us for PinHire (₹999 for the Builder Pass).
• Nothing in these terms limits our liability where Indian law does not allow it, for example for fraud. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

The laws of India govern these terms. If you have a problem, please email us first. We will try to solve it with you.

If we cannot solve it, only the courts at Bangalore (Bengaluru), Karnataka, India can decide the dispute. This does not stop you from going to a consumer commission (consumer court) where Indian consumer law allows it.

We may update these terms, for example when PinHire changes or the law changes. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date (the date it starts). If a change is important, we will also email you. If you keep using PinHire after the new terms start, you accept them.
