Refunds, Cancellation and Delivery

The ₹999 Builder Pass is a digital product. As soon as we confirm your payment, the practice lab, the starter kit and the 3-module prep guide open in your account. Before you pay, the checkout asks you to tick a box. The box says that your payment counts as starting to use the digital product right away.

So we do not refund a Builder Pass once it is open. For example, we do not give a refund if:

• you change your mind;
• you miss the test, or you cannot use all 3 attempts while the test is open;
• you do not pass the test, or you do not get a job;
• we close your account because of cheating or another break of our Terms of Use.

The only exceptions are the 3 cases in the next section. This policy does not take away any right to a refund that you have under Indian law. If the Builder Pass is badly faulty or is not what we described, and we cannot fix it, you can still ask for a refund under Indian consumer law.

1. Duplicate payment. You paid twice for the same pass. We refund the extra payment in full, and your pass stays active.
2. Pass not activated. Money was taken from your account, but your Builder Pass did not open, and we cannot fix it within 2 working days after you tell us. We refund the full ₹999.
3. Test cancelled. We cancel the Sunday test and do not offer a new date that you accept. We refund the full ₹999.

A full refund means the whole amount you paid: ₹999, including GST.

If your bank took money but the payment failed, the money usually comes back to you on its own, through Razorpay or your bank. If it does not come back, email us and we will help.

Email support@pincler.com from the email address of your PinHire account. Please include:

• your PinHire ID (the Candidate ID on your profile page, for example PH-2026-1234);
• your Razorpay payment ID. It starts with “pay_”. You can find it in the confirmation email we sent you (it says “Payment ID”) and in the payment receipt from Razorpay. For a duplicate payment, send both payment IDs. If your pass did not open and you cannot find the payment ID, send the date, the amount and the UPI or bank reference number instead;
• which of the 3 cases above applies, and a short note about what happened.

• We confirm within 48 hours that we received your request. We check it and email you our decision as soon as we can, and always within 1 month.
• If we approve it, we send the refund to your original payment method: the same card, UPI account, bank account or wallet that you paid with.
• The money reaches you within 5–7 working days after approval. Some banks take a little longer to show it.
• When we refund a Builder Pass, the pass closes and your account goes back to the free plan. Attempts you have already taken stay on your record.

• No subscription. The Builder Pass is a one-time payment. Nothing renews, and we never charge you again automatically.
• Before you pay. If you change your mind, close the payment window. You are not charged.
• Stop at any time. You can stop using PinHire at any time. You do not need to cancel anything.
• Close your account. Email support@pincler.com from your account email. Closing your account does not refund a Builder Pass that was already open.
• Free account. It costs ₹0. You can stop using it, or ask us to close it, at any time.

The next test is on Sunday, 1 November 2026, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM IST. Sometimes we may have to move or cancel a test. For example, this can happen because of a technical problem or events outside our control. If this happens, we will email you as soon as we can.

• If we move the test and you accept the new date, your Builder Pass works for the new date.
• If we move the test and you do not accept the new date, we refund your pass in full.
• If we cancel the test and do not offer a new date that you accept, we refund your pass in full. Ask for it as explained in section 3.

• Digital only. The Builder Pass is digital. Nothing is shipped to you, and there is no delivery charge.
• Access right away. Your pass opens as soon as we confirm your payment, in the PinHire account you paid from. The practice lab, the starter kit (ZIP download and GitHub link), the 3-module prep guide, the marking guide and the system design guide open right away. Your 3 attempts are ready for the live test. Each handbook part opens after the attempt that uses that question set is over.
• Confirmation email. We also email you a confirmation with the amount, your invoice and payment details, and links to everything that opened.
• If your pass does not open within a few minutes, sign out and sign in again. If it is still closed, email us with your PinHire ID and payment ID. If we cannot fix it within 2 working days, we refund you in full.

If you pay again for a pass that is already active, PinHire tells you that we did not make an invoice for the second payment. We refund the second payment in full, to the same payment method, within 5–7 working days after approval. Your pass stays active. If you do not get the refund, email us with both payment IDs.

Please contact us before you raise a dispute (chargeback) with your bank. In a chargeback, you ask your bank to take back a payment. Contacting us first is usually faster. If a payment is returned to you through a bank dispute, the Builder Pass it paid for closes.

The ₹999 Builder Pass pays only for prep material and monitored test attempts. We never charge a fee for a job offer or an interview. Passing the test does not guarantee a job. So not getting a job is not a reason for a refund.
