Junior AI Full-Stack Engineer

What you’ll do

• Build and ship features for the core product.
• Build APIs, backend services and database integrations in Python (FastAPI) or Node.js. Also screens, in Next.js and React.
• Integrate AI models (LLM APIs), AI agents, RAG search and third-party services. RAG means search plus AI answers.
• Deploy and run what you build on the cloud (AWS, Google Cloud or Azure).
• Find and fix bugs. Keep the app fast as more people use it.
• Write clear, simple code. Add tests where they help.
• Make technical choices with the founders.
• Share updates, and tell the team early when you are stuck.

What we’re looking for

• Evidence that you can build. You have built working software. You can explain your choices.
• Strong basics. You know APIs, databases, debugging, Git and how web apps work.
• Depth in at least one language or framework, such as Python or TypeScript. You can do more than follow a tutorial.
• You can solve problems on your own. You split a big problem into small parts. You know when to ask for help.
• You learn fast and think deeply. You ask for feedback and use it.
• Good judgment. You want good code, on time.

A Computer Science degree is welcome, but not required. Your work and your thinking matter more.

Plus

• Experience building with LLM APIs, AI agents or RAG.
• Experience running an app people use.
• Some skills in the cloud, auto deploys, app alerts or app security.
• Work experience.

If you use AI coding tools, you should be able to review, debug, and explain the code they produce. You are still in charge of it.
